This private art gallery in Chippendale is so cool! I have been twice to see their December show which is done by Blak Douglas. The owner is very friendly and professional. The gallery is in a warehouse and is perfect for art opening with lane access too. I will definitely be on the look out for more of their shows. A must visit if you are looking for art in Sydney.

Great open space with plenty of natural light..
I purchased a Morten Lassen painting from this company a few years ago for 7000, and a couple of years ago they provided me with a valuation of 10,500. Now I am trying to sell it and the auctioneers have given me a sales estimate of 1000 to 1500. Obviously I should have done this prior to purchase, but a recent google search revealed the record price for this artist was 1200 USD for a painting that was 50% larger than mine. I have rung and left messages on at least 4 occasions to discuss this with Ralph Hobbs no returned phone calls to date. Readers can reach their own conclusions from this review.

This gallery showcases contemporary artists in the emerging arts precinct of Chippendale. Just around the corner from White Rabbit. Well worth a look (post shutdown!).
Their stable of artistes are always amazing. Only wish we have more wall space.
